5 Foods To Eat Pre-Workout

What you eat before a workout can have a huge impact and make all the difference. To get the best results, you’ll want to make sure you know what to munch on before you start breakin’ a sweat.

Before hitting the gym or your next pilates class, be sure to eat foods that can be digested easily and will give you power throughout your entire workout. You’ll want to finish that last bite about 30-40 minutes before hand.

Strength Training Snacks

  1. Whole grain toast and egg white omelet

  2. 1 banana with ⅓ cup of greek yogurt

  3. ½ cup of oatmeal with almond butter mixed in

  4. Fruit smoothie with 1 cup milk, ½ cup yogurt, 1 cup berries

  5. Apple with 1 tbsp almond butter

Cardio Snacks

  1. 1 slice of toast with ½ banana and 1 tbsp of peanut butter

  2. ½ cup of oatmeal with berries and 1 tsp of cinnamon

  3. 1 apple with 1 serving of almonds

  4. ½ cup rice with ½ broccoli

  5. High protein energy bar
