Simply make a large pitcher and re-fill your bottles with these delicious and nutritious homemade recipes for sports drinks.
Here are some DIY recipes for sports drinks that will energize you and save you money.
Maple Sports Drink

Enjoy this all-natural beverage after you workout for more than an hour. It will energize you in all the right ways!
3 3/4 Cup Cold Water
1/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Mix everything together in a 1-quart bottle and shake well!

It’s easy to tweak this recipe to your own needs, it makes up to 9 cups.
8 Cups of Cold Water
3 Tablespoons of Honey (or other sweetener)
1/2 Teaspoon of Himalayan Pink Salt (or sea salt or pure salt)
3/4 Teaspoon of Calcium Magnesium Powder
A Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
3/4 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
2 Juiced Lemons
2 Juiced Limes
Pour 1 cup of water into a large pot, then add honey, salt, calcium-magnesium powder and cayenne. Put the pot over low heat and stir until everything is dissolved. Remove from the heat and allow it to return to room temperature. Add the juices and the remaining 7 cups of water and stir until everything is blended well.

1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
1/4 Cup Hot Water
1/4 Cup Orange Juice (not from concentrate)
2 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
3 1/2 Cup Cold Water
Dissolve the sugar and salt in the pitcher of hot water. Then add the juices and remaining water. Let this chill for 30 minutes and then enjoy!
